FiveLtrRiceEatr, what color is that on your car, don't see it come up too often.

The foureyed guys do get defensive sometimes, I guess it's because sometimes we feel like the little guy being beat up on, but you know, most of us all own an aero car too, and love them just as much. I'm helping my brother 50 proof currently build an explorer/gt40 headeded 5.0 for his 88 notch, that we have put a ton of work into, and of course his other car is an 86 ttop. I've owned all sorts, an 88 notch ssp, an 89 4 banger coupe, couple of 86gts, an 86 gt vert, and now an 84 notch. In a perfect world it's cool to have one of each. While I think the four eyes look mean as hell, sometimes I like the aero cars for their upgrade in sophistication (interior, etc, and they're newer still)

Best of luck with the two of you in your projects, I gaurantee, your friend will be so proud of his decision, he'll never go back. I was once considering the swap, and, well, here I am now!! I'm sending you a pm about your parts too.

If you want to ruin the 4 eyed look, then I hope your at least staying with the carb. You might as well be EFI...

I hated my car when I bought it at first because everyone I knew had the 87 and up foxes. Now I would not trade it or sell it. It kinda grew on me. Plus there would be no way to recoup what I put into it. So it's mine forever I guess.

yeah it is grabber blue. Looked alot better before the sun faded the hell out of it. I am getting it repainted soon and I am adding a 82 hood scoop and painting that black. Not sure if I want to cut a hole in my hood to make it semi-functional.

It's the Four-Eyed Pride forums. www.foureyedpride.com Only 79-86 Mustangs and Capris. A few of the other guys in this thread are over there, too. Come on over and check it out, too.
