Hey all, my Dad and I are try to get his 86 LX convertible up and running and we are trying to replace the speakers. Does anyone have an idea of what speakers will actually fit in there. We know they are 6 1/2 inch. Just every speaker we have tried doesn't fit in the speaker slot. We know we need the low profiles but the diameter on speakers are all different even though they are 6 1/2 inches. Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.

Crutchfield is who I would call about this. They have extensive info on hand, and although I fin their prices at least as good as the local audio video store for car stuff, the customs service, vehicles specifically instructions, extra brackets and wiring adaptors are with a lot.
