86 mustang door speakers

Hey guys,

I've heard from multiple sources and multiple threads that the doors of 79-86 mustangs had holes for door speakers already in the door. But that isn't what seems to be the case for my car I have a set of 6.5 premiers that i want to add.
would you guys recommend just cutting the door a bit?

Hack them up. If you do it right it will look fine.

where is the best spot to fit a 6.5 in there. the lower right hand corner of the picture doesn't seem to be good because theres the window track bolted there

well, i have mustang gt 86 too,, the front speakers are circles like 4 inchs, looks well, later show you pictures, i wanna see pictures about your stang !!! sorry for the inglish, see you soon..!!!!!
