so i decided to take it out last night as it was a nice night. i got gas and there was a nice sounding mustang taunting me with a burnout (like i was really worried). so i start cruising around and notice the temp gauge is very high, e-fan wasn't kicking on (hot wired it to stay on, keep this in mind for later), so i should have taken it home at this point. so i decided just to take it out and open it up on some back roads when i see a group of crotch rockets at the stop light, to which my eyes just lit up. but as i was approaching them and the car died. i thought it was because i jumped the e-fan and let it run and it killed the battery, but no. threw the jumper pack on it.... nadda. so at that point, i called the tow truck and had it towed.
I think its just the eec-iv relay because i had the exact same problem 2 years ago. i get nothing... no radio, lights, fuel pump.... its like there was battery in the car!
I may just get a new relay and take it off the road for the year. Maybe its good that i didn't go to dyno day as this might have happened on the turnpike.
I would be pissed, but this happened 2 years ago, so it better be the same damn problem. and this just re solidifies the fact that i should get something newer....
