87 - 89 Convertible top frames

Hey all. Can anyone tell me if there are any differences between the 87 and 89 vert top frames. I vaguely remember hearing that there was but I might be wrong.
My Passenger side frame is busted and I have found a passenger side part of the frame from an 89. I know its a lil cold to be thinking convertibles but hey, Spring is coming.
