I have a 1994 Mustang 5.0 but it has a bent exhaust valve on cylinder #3. I would like to know if I can put in an 89 5.0 motor on it and just switch the parts? or would it be better if i just fix that problem? Which idea saves me money and time? Thanks!

Just swap the heads over. They're the same E7TE castings on both engines. Although this would be a great excuse to upgrade to a nice set of aftermarket aluminum castings.

Pretty direct. Swap timing covers and front acc's and the intake manifold/TB everything else is pretty mush the same.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

As stated above, the long block itself is identical.
