87-93 heads 84 Block, will it work?

someone can help me out here. Could the newer roller motor heads bolt up to my 84 mustang with no problems? If so, could I expect any power gains, or would it just be a good old fashioned waste of time? anything will help.

if the '84 pistons have valve reliefs , wich i believe they do, then they should work

if your current heads are the D80O (or something like that) they have 69cc C.C.'s and i belive the e7s have 64cc C.C.'s so you would have raised compression and more power

if im wrong about any of this stuff...someone educate me

Yes, they will bolt right up and work just fine.The heads are supposedly a better casting so you may see some increased flow but nothing really that you'd feel.
