Electrical 87 Lx Cluster Problems

Hey everybody I bought a 87 coupe v8 and the gas,oil press and temp gauge don't work
So I replaced the cluster and still doesn't work but I looked under the dash close to the radio
And it's missing relays I believe the wires are just cut does anybody know what does relays are for
Or had this similar problem

PM me your email address and I will send you a complete Ford Factory 89 Mustang electrical diagram set. The 87-89 instrument clusters are all the same and so is much of the body wiring with the exception of the main fuel injector computer wiring harness.
