Engine 88 Gt Where Does This Bolt Go???

Hi there i just did some rust repair and removed the engine, when putting everything back together i was left with this bolt.... engine and tranny came out in 1 piece, the bolt is 9/16 and about 4 cm long

Ground cable from battery to drivers side of block?
Ground strap from drivers side rear head to firewall?

Nope got all three of those thats the weird stuff everything is thight car starts normal drives normal

Yea the top was all greasy the engine also had bad valve covers so i think its underside or tranny related

Does anyone has a picture of where the drivers side bracket that holds the wire from the starter to the starter relay mounts to.... could be thats the one

That bracket your asking about is bolted in the same place the battery ground wire is. The bolt in the pic is the top alternator to bracket bolt.
The bolts that hold the brackets for the starter cable do not have washers on them.

Doesn't look like an engine bolt. What did you disassemble in the bay? Sway bar bolt?

Does it have metric or US threads?

If metric, that's a A/C compressor mount bolt. The A/C compressors are all made in the Far East and use metric fasteners.
