i got eight speaker wires coming out of my cd player, for 4 speakers + and -. i know what colors are supposed to go to what speakers as far as the cd player harness goes. i thought i could wire my speaker wires coming out of my cd player straight to the speaker wires coming out of my amp (bypassing the amp)? i just didnt really wanna rewire to my speakers cuz i dont like the thought of havin all these wasted wire running thru my car. but i guess if i have to then i will

Its not hard. From your new radio, you only can hook front or rear. When amp comes on all 6 will play just balance can be change.pink/l blue is right+ and pink/lt pink. Black/white is neg.thats all for speakers. Amp power return is a 14 gauge red wire. Ground 20gauge black. The w/g and purple/w tie together .thats power sound for right side. Than lt green and lite blue/black tie together that is left power sound. Than lt blue /red is dash lites. The stock unit played say 20wpc. Button on eq pushed on would power powersound .so that need remote power. Yellow/black is antenna/radio feed.lt green/yellow is memory feed. If i missed any let me know

Having fun. Tricky. Boostapimp might be able to make sence of this for you. The colors you gave fits with eq. The wires that i said to tie are the 4 positives to speakers when eq was powered. The sound can be changed by eq, loudness i cant answer where it come from? Eq or amp. System without eq wire are different colors.

i just had to run new speaker wire....and sure enough with the exception of the driver front speaker all the others had been taken out. so i got that one hooked up. BUT now theres one final issue: my cd player will turn on and off with the ignition, but say im 30 seconds into a song and turn my car off for 10 seconds it'll be 40 seconds into the song when i turn the key back on. does this mean i have my ignition power and constang power mixed up???
