88 Mustang stalling....help!

I converted my 88 Mustang to mass air with Pro-M kit now it stalls when it is cold and idles rough around 600 rpms. Double checked wiring...anyone have any input?

What computer did it come with? Mine idled rough for the first few hot cold cycles then it smoothed out.

What did you use to make your wiring connections/splices?

How does it run when warmed up?

88 stalling mustang

A9L is the computer that I put in it, the one that was in it, not sure. I soldered all the connections. It has stock injectors and throttle body. After warming up it runs fine but it has a backfire at lower rpms when I give it gas sometimes. I'm not sure what else to do with it any ideas?

Is this a fresh install ? If so, can you get help from customer service ? It sounds like the sensor that detects cold air/water temp isn't functioning or getting the signal back to the computer to compensate.

Can you dump the codes and see what you get? You can do this even if you don't have a code scanner.
