So, I've upgraded my old broken 2G to a nice 3G unit from a 97 V6. I've had no troubles with the install, and everything works great (I should have done this ages ago!) My question is with grounding for the new unit. It's not been necessary yet, since there's not currently too much demand for power in my car, but I was wondering if anyone knows a good location for an additional b-to-chassis ground. The Negative battery cable ground seemed like a good spot, but I thought it might be redundant. I planned on running it to the dedicated computer ground next to the starter solenoid. Any input would be appreciated!
