Good afternoon... This might be a stupid question... But I'm gonna fire away anyways... I just purchased an 89 5 liter. I went to replace the O2 harness (drivers side), and I can't get the wire out of the low oil sensor...? Does anyone know if the wire just pulls out? Or does the sensor have to be removed from the oil pan in order to remove the wire? I just changed the oil and am trying to avoid changing it again lol. Thanks in advance! Joe.

I looked in my magic book and it doesn't show a pic or how it disconnects but if I remember there is a tiny wire clip that holds it in. It's shaped like a c and is similar to that pita clip for the speedo cable. I think about a quart plus a little may come out. Can't remember been awhile.
Is there not a connection between the sensor the harness?

There's a clip that holds it in. You can see it here.

To pull the plastic part out requires a little push/pull maneuver. Clean it up with brake clean, then I think you push in before pulling out
