hey guys im new to the forum thing so sorry if im doing anything wrong. but i have a 89 lx with a 93 5.0 HO in it. I just bought this car, and installed the intake manifold and distributor because the previous owner had them removed. but when the car warms up, it will stall out in neutral, if im moving or not, it doesnt sputter or anything but it just idles down and dies. im used to working on carbed cars im new to the whole fuel injection thing so i have no clue where to start here. also there were a few vacuum lines that were missing so if anyone knows where all the manifold vacuum ports go to and the vacuum lines off the throttle body go that would be awesome. thankyou and sorry if i sound like a total idiot here.

Sounds like you have a vac leak issue then. That can cause stalling and erratic idling.

See the "Surging Idle Checklist for help with all your idle/stall problems. Everything you need to find and fix idle problems is in there.

The first two posts contain all the updates to the fixes. At last count there were 24 possible causes and fixes for surging idle/stall problems. I continue to update it as more people post fixes or ask questions.

Handy tools and tips are in the "Surging Idle Checklist on how to dump codes and diagnose problems. Check it out, it's free and it can save you time and money.
