Ok I am going to try to swap my rear this weekend. I have a whole replacement carrier so it should just be an easy swap, slide the axels out drop the driveshaft, pull the carrier, replace the seal, bolt in the new carrier slide the axel back in, reconnect the driveshaft. Question is what gear oil to use. I am installing 3:50 opens. And can I buy the carrier to housing seal/gasket at any parts house? Any tricks to putting the gear oil in the housing?

THanks

You might want to invest in a fluid extracter/filler. It makes filling the case a whole lot easier. Also at Autozone.
