I am interested in putting a 9" rear axle in my '65 Coupe and know nothing about the swap. My local wrecking yard has a surplus of them and I do not know which to choose. Does anyone have recommendations of what to look for? Do I just measure the length for something that will fit? Will I be stuck getting a wider one that will need to be narrowed? The yard has them all labeled as to what kind of car the came out of- is there any specific year/car that will make for an easy swap?
