My 90 LX 5.0 pulls to the left bad if I let go of the wheel. It's been aligned - a few months ago, but regardless. I don't notice any uneven tire wear or low pressure. What can cause the car to pull to the left and how can I check out what it is w/o taking it to a shop and paying someone to do it?

Just because it was aligned doesn't mean that A) they did a good job B) you might have hit a pothole or something that knocked it out. I say try flipping the tires then if you need to get it re-aligned.

Believe me living in the capitol of bad roads Montreal Quebec (anyone who has been here will not argue that) being out of alignment is a like breathing.....lol

have you checked tire pressure (i know, slap me for asking, but i had to)? radial tires can be deceiving, lookin the same even when down some pounds.

as said, you could have a bad radial. if it does not always pull to one side, but rather tends to 'wander' to one side, when on rough roads, castor could be marginal, which can allow for the tires to find ruts in the road and follow them. w/o castor plates, there is not much you can do for castor.

good luck.
