My ‘86 was redone by a previous owner with an interior from what I believe to be a 90-93. The vinyl parts of the seats are definitely black, but the cloth seems to be charcoal grey. I’m just wondering if anyone can clarify the color code/ description of what I have.

I’d also like to know if there is a way to easily attach 90-93 seatbelts in an ‘86. Aside from the bezels being broken, I just hate seeing that there should be belts there, and there are none.

It's black. The cloth portion tends to fade slightly or look a little lighter, but that looks like the factory 90-93 color. If it has the pull out thigh section they are 90-91 seats and if they don't they are 92-93 seats. Ford called it black and later changed the color name to ebony. I've never been able to tell a difference.

As for the rear seats...it's a PITA. You need to get the rear metal bracket that is spot welded to the rear interior quarter, and weld it in.

After that, then you can get the rear lap belts in.

I bought the above bracket (I think he took $35) but won't be getting to welding it in for some time.
