SBC into 90 Fox. I want to convert rear 4 lug to 5 with posi. From what I've gathered the standard width is 59.25. Currie Ent. has a rear that is 59.50 . Ebay has an 8.8 empty rear assembly. Am I on the right track. speedway has a complete setup with posi, but it's 54". Can anyone lead me in the right direction. Thanks

I can't choose what rear you need without more info, but I can tell you I'd buy a used 8.8 fox body rear end and rebuild it with new traclok ( fords posi)
And axles with your gears of choice. Get the five lug axles with correct length and concentric for cobra 11.625 rotors ( got mine from LMR) get the adapter brackets( North race cars) and 38 mm calipers. You'll also need soft !ines, hard lines(95 mustang) and e brake cables.
Follow the 4 to 5 lug cobra brake upgrade on this site for more in depth info.

Is this a 4-cyl body that you are upgrading to an 8.8?

Because you should already have an 8.8 axle with traction-lok limited slip differential. There are options that exist now to retain same width and go to a 5-lug setup, or go 3/4" wider each side

I purchased this from Speedway a few years ago and I can't remember the dimension but it was spot on to the 7.5" that was original to the car ( 83) ....
