90 LX5.0 Clutch options

Started to notice clutch slip as I rev the car. Was hoping to get opinions on clutch options as I have a LX5.0 with probably 300hp at the flywheel and just want something good for street driving. Was looking at the Valeo but not sure what is out there, any suggestions?

In my 92 I’m using Ram HDX. It holds good in my application. Here it is as American Muscle. I think I bought mine for under 200 from another vendor but I can’t remember exactly where.

I have the Ram HDX also. I also have the MM clutch cable and UPR firewall adjuster. My clutch feels about like a stock one.

I went with this one about a year ago. A McLeod street clutch. I like it. Feels like a stock clutch as well. I also replaced everything in there at the same time.

Never found anything better for me than my Centerforce Dual Friction. I've put them in every Mustang I've ever had after trying a few others and not liking them. Car had over 400hp at one time and worked great. It has the best pedal feel I've ever felt.

Thanks for the feedback, I curious as I have BBK 1 5/8 long tube headers, I cant remember if these need to be removed when dropping the t5?

You may find it easier to deal with the trans and the bellhousing with the right side out, thats the easiest one to remove.

I would think so, to access the upper bellhousing bolts.
