ok i just did a v8 swap on a 90 4cyl mustang, i have 12v at all the injectors, fuel pressure of 40 psi and pump primes when key is engaged, hego ground on back of engine is hooked up, ground by starter solenoid is hooked, and computer ground is hooked up. my tps only gives a reading of .02 V and cycles up to 1v when i go full throttle. what could be the problem im loosing my mind trying to figure it out???

yea the engine has run before, but with a carb not in the new car im building, i am trying to start it for the first time in this car.... i have 24lb injectors and a matching mass air, they ran fine on a buddies car when i ground the non red wire on the injector harness the injectors click which means they are working....

yes its a 90 harness because it has 2 connectors over on rh rear side of engine bay and a few white clips for air bags, i did some reading and i have a egr delete plate and i left the egr clip unplugged, could this be effecting the injectors?

Sounds like you have the tps adjusted wrong. Take it off the tb and see if it lines up correctly to the throttle plate. The range sounds right it's just not in the right position. Set TPS at .95 and see how it is from there.

i bought a new tps sensor and i still get a reading of .02 volts. any1 have any idea what it the problem is? im positive its the right harness for the car its got 2 clips to plug into dash harness and has the white air bag plugs....
