91 5.0 Cuttin out problem

Ok So im in Afganistan and i just bought a 91 Lx 5.0.. My uncle picked it up and it died like 2 blocks down the road.. The guy that we bought it from thought it was an electrical problem.. So my uncle took it into the shop they fix a bunch of sensors on the ignition and replaced distributor.. Also the oil pressure guage is reading low but it has oil in it.. My uncle picked up the car and it ran for about 30 mins before it cut out again and it wouldnt start after this.. It will crank but wont run... My question is could it be a serious problem or a electronic problem? its going back in the shop tomorrow. Should i just go with a whole new ignition like msd? Im new to the stang scene so this is all french to me.

I wouldn't go spending hundreds of dollars on MSD stuff. Have him figure out the problem using factory OEM Ford replacment parts. Get it running good, then go to your MSD stuff in the future. The module on the DIST goes bad and will cause the car to die, but if he replaced the DIST, I assume he put a new module on there as well. The fuel pump coul dbe cutting out as well. When they go bad, they still might work until they get hot, then they overheat and shut off.

I would just suggest he starts with normal tune up stuff, and try and trace all wires and make sure they are not corroded. Check grounds, fuse links fuse box etc...
