91-93 fenders on an 88

Can you bolt 91-93 fenders onto an 88? I ask becuase I know the 91-93 got more clearance for the tires in the fender, and at least one of my fenders will need to be replaced at some point.
 
Not sure where the other guy got his info. The 91-93 fenders are different. The only difference is the wheel well opening. The openings were made bigger to accomodate larger wheel and tire packages. They bolt on the same way they did from 79 on, so you should have no trouble hanging them other than the usual alignment issues. If they don't have the side mouldings, you'll need to get ones for 91-93 cars as they're shorter in length because of the larger wheel opening.

yep they bolt right on, totally identical except for the very front part of the wheel opening...you almost cant even notice it unless A) you really know what u are looking at or B) you have an 87-90 and 91-93 car to compare. as stated earlier, that one piece of molding before the wheel is different, as is the fender extension...other than that, its plug and play
