I just bought a 91 got, great interior/body. It lacks motor/tranny/rear end/front suspension. Basically what I want to build a good 393. What exactly do I need for the suspension on front and back. I know I need the rear end, upper/lower control arms, springs and shocks for the rear, but what else to put my rear end in? Also, on the front, I have the rack and pinion (steering), and rag joint, but what besides the disc setup and a arms and struts do I need. I am thinking of going with street/strip setup, possibly coil overs or tubular k member. Any ideas/thoughts appreciated.

i've never got crazy w/ suspension, but w/ a few different cars and a few different setups i've had, i prefer the very streetable setup.
I like hpm mega-bite jr lca's , polyurethane bushing kit all the way around, do the torque boxes, no drag specific suspension..i don't think it's the worth it. but you can airbag the right rear spring. the car will handle like it's on rails and hook very very well.

I plan on putting a 393 in it, A/C and PS will stay. Want it streetable, but I live in Bowling Green, where NMRA finals are, so I may go run it at Beech Bend once a month or so. No road coarses for sure, but I'de like to have handling at least as well as a 302 would, with the added weight of the 351w. Like what notchback has listed so far. I was wondering what I would need that doesn't come with the rear axle, besided control arms, and shocks and springs. I was interested in the front also, would it be worth it to go flaming river, or the stock rack and pinion? How about a tubular Kmember, besides headers/starter clearance, what good is it? Also, are coil overs a good idea on front and/or back? I'm not much on suspension, and I have to get something in this thing first, so it can be rolled around. Thanks.
