I just bought this off of Racing Junk and thought I would post some info and pics. If anyone has any ideas of hp numbers and possible 1/4 mile times let me know. I know that the car made 348 hp to the rear wheels before the bolt-ons were added. then the Gt-40 heads ported and polished, typhoon upper and lower intake, BBK 75mm TB,1" BBK spacer & 36# injectors were added. Let me know what you think.
Powerdyne bd11-a supercharger making #6 of boost
eagle rods
forged probe pistons,
forged crank.
GT 40 heads worked.
Typhoon Intake,
GT spacer 1" BBK spacer
BBK 75MM TB
36# INJ
BBK headers
H pipe

flow masters,
373 gears,
all susp upgrades, with rear lakewood cal tracs,
racing clutch, with adjuster,
msd 2 box with rev control.
255 in-tank race pump.
new front tires,
new chrome pedals,
new ss tips.

For some reason the pics do not load when I select them from my post. However if you want to see them you can right click and open them in a new tab and it works.

Looks real clean! That thing better be fast with a paint job like that! Lol. What kind of boost is the blower putting out?

It is currently at #6 lbs of boost. I have heard a lot of bad feedback on the Powerdyne blowers so I didn't want to push it to much. This particular model bd11-a is supposed to be a little more reliable than the older models.

I am hoping to get it into the mid 10's eventually. I am hoping to find a build that I can copy to get me to where I want to be. Normally I would experiment but work schedule does not allow. So I will have to take the easy and copy someone else s build. It almost sounds like cheating.

Thanks. I like everything but the wheels. I am hoping to do a 5-lug conversion and swap the rims. I love racing junkbut you are right it is to easy to find things you like.

Once you ditch the wheels it will look 100x better IMO. You put a set of good flowing heads on it and i think you will see a nice bump in power.

Thanks for the comments. I hear alot of talk about heads and have used several sets of aftermarket heads. How well does a set of ported and polished gt40 heads compare to a set of aluminum afr heads?

depends on which set of AFRs you are comparing them to. I'd assume you mean 185s?

Great looking car though!

Sorry the 185s is what I was referring to. I just had the time slips emailed to me from the guy that had the car before me. The car ran 11.7 at 116mph at the Darlington track. That is a pretty encouraging. He is a pretty honest guy and I don't think he would send me a slip from another car since he already has my money. Does this sound right to you guys? I was also curious about running nitrous with the supercharger. Is this possible?

Even with fully forged internals? I was just thinking about a 50 shot?

Install a methanol injection kit. It will probably be worth an easy 50+ rwhp on your setup.

I have never really looked into methanol injection. How hard is it to install?

It's not...and since you're rocking a Vortech, you could use the Anderson Ford Motorsport Mr. Freeze kit...its like $200 and installs quick. No electrical connections needed...only works under boost. You could go with the Snow kit too-only diff being you'd have to hook up electrical for it.
