Im buying a 92 4 cyl notch sunday and I was woundering what trans come stock in those and also will a 302 bolt up to the stock trans I have a 02 GT and I dont realy know much about the notch thanks for your help in advance
If its a 5 spd its the T5, if its an automatic its the A4LD. Neither will bolt to a 302 directly, although the T5 itself will bolt to a 302 bellhousing, the input shaft is completely different and will not work. Also consider the 4 banger's T5 is rated for torque less than a stock 302.
Be ready for slowness, especially if its an automatic.
