Hey Dudes

Back at it here on 1FUN TOY getting ready for FUN FORD OHIO and wanted to delete some more junk ie: AIR BAG . Will eventually be going to a different steering wheel but I'm having a hard time finding many options for the 92-93 ?

QUESTION: the power wire running behind the battery up to the sensor under the front rail.. if you've moved or taken that out as many of us are going to aftermarket wheels etc... what did you do? Asking because I don't want the AIR BAG blowing up in my face etc L!

thanks

Just unhook them. Theres another on the passenger side too...along with both modules on the rad support. I always disconnect the battery first, the air bag has a 15 minute reserve. Let it sit for 20 minutes or so, then all good. I really doubt it would go off just unhooking the modules...but better safe than sorry.

Well.. the battery has been out for a few days.... I guess I can take your word for it L! take the hideous modules out of the front upper bumper support and peel back the wires til the connection if found and delete that.

guess bag can't JIFFY POP me in the face if there's no juice to it ?? would be pissed if I took out the modules, cut or stripped the wire and put battery back in to see the bag explode inside the car that would really suck L!
