92 CAI help

Well what does this sencer do on the air box on a 92 4 banger? I wanna put my old CAI off my 5.0 on here but not sure what this sencer does? It's the roundish looking one by the MAF peace

I can't really tell what your picture is showing, but the silencer doesn't do anything but reduce intake noise.

I was talking about the sencer not the silencer. See that electrical connecter below the MAF connecter. Thats the one i'm talking about.peace

wen i put a cold air on my 91 4 banger i just drillled and taped a hole for that sensor and it sean to work fine?

so im not sure if you have to have it or not but i would recomend running it [its there for a reason]

That little thing would be the Air Charge Temperature Sensor.
