So I recently upgraded to 22lb injectors in my 1992 302 HO. I put a mass air rated to 24 lb calibrated. Bbk fuel rails. I started it up and I’m get a lot of hesitation from the engine. Shakes bad and blue smoke when I rev it up. I’m doing a regulator tomorrow and a gauge. Any ideas what my problem could be?

Miss matched parts on an unmodified computer controlled car is asking for trouble, the computer works around a certain set of perimeters and info from sensors, basically it is getting conflicting info and can't control the 22lb injectors with a maf calibrated for 24s.
Why are you doing this?

Should I up them to 24lb? I wanted to update the fuel system on the car. Give a nicer look also with the new rails. I tossed the old ones as some of them weren’t in the best shape.

You at least have to have an exact match on injectors/MAF. Did you get injectors on E Bay. The reviews on those are terrible. You may have to go get some origionals if all else fails. Post a picture of the car so we can see what you got.

There are injectors the ecu is not setup to deal with like high vrs low impedance types of injectors, remember with EFI bigger is not better.

What 22# injectors do you have? If you measure resistance across the coil on the injector, do you get 14.4 ohms?
