92' Twin Turbo 300zx

If he's stock just running exhaust, then you will EASILY take him. My friend had one, actually he had a couple. They are VERY capable (as said above), but he went with bigger turbos. He raced a C5 (not zo6) from a roll and he beat it by a car length.

Your car is TT... you've got nothing to worry about. Just make sure you've got some good rubber and traction won't be a problem for you from a dig or from a roll.

Only the turbo Z's have rear steering. The NA Z's do not. In fact most seriously modded Z's delete the rear sterering as its a weaker setup than the NA cars rear.

If his boost gauge was still climbing from 15#'s it wold be safe to say that there is a little more going on than just exhaust on the Z... be weary. Even a sure thing can get flipped around if your not careful. But the outcome should be TT 5.0 dusting a lightly modded Z car. ;)

dude they are fast my friend has one, stock for stock it beat my cobra with a slipping clutch, after he fixed that he really walked me. Now hes got double the boost and he pulls away from fbodies no problem. But they do say 95 was one of the faster years since its got better componets on the engines since the earlier ones had some problems, but 96 got worse with the obd2,

http://media.putfile.com/incomplete_video my friend was babying his mach but ull see the 300zx in this vid kill it,heh and then the dark race at the end was vs a trans am while it has all his mods. thats also his 96 vortech cobra in the vid too

edit opps i just saw u were the guy with the twin turbo stang, lol well anyways theirs some ensight

I don't even have to click on that link to tell you it's not going to work :p

dude it does work, incomplete video is just the file name i choose for it, i called it incomplete because i never got to film my friends 700hp R32 skyline. the evo in the vid is racing a stock z06 btw and notice it walk away , we went up to like 140 too and thats where usually a corvettes aero dynamics shine, hes friends with the a guy who owns a built skyline

ya u can get the tt motor for cheap, they have an abudance of jdm engines lying around but that car is so hard to work on so the labor will catch up, heh luckily my friend who owns one is a mechanic so hes gonna do it himself since he kinda needs a rebuild or new motor, its a badass car he paid only 5500 too from an origonal lady owner

sweet cars, almost bought one during my car search. being a mechanic though i looked under the hood of one and then looked under the hood of my future stang and made the obvious choice. also talked to some techs at our nissan dealership and they just just shook their heads and said have fun.
