93,000 miles!!!, rebuild, or head swap???

ya i have some few mods on my gt , nothing engine related yet , but i street race alot and im a daily driver that lives in nor cal, should i just buy a rebuilt engine or just do a pi head swap since im pushing 93,000 miles in about a month or two. thanx!!!!

Since you are still pushing it pretty hard, i'd just put some 3.73's, 3.90's, or 4.10's in the rear end with some new clutch packs and new berring, then run the motor till it has problems before I replaced it.

then you can buy a 99+ crate motor once your's starts to go.

just dropped a new heavy duty clutch with fork , berring and flywheel, about how much is a 99+ engine and whats the hp on it ???

99+ is rated at 260 flywheel hp and 302 flywheel torque.

Most people dyno stock with 225-230ish RWHP and 260-270ish RWTQ.

I still think you should go for new rear end gears and use the motor you have until it starts running crappy tho.

they sell complete engines as well. You can even get a 4v Cobra engine from them

Just keep saving untill the motor go's or you got tons of cash saved.
