M y 93 is not running right I need help please. It started friday when the tach dropped to half of what it was actually doing and the check engine light came on. It does run just a little labored and stumbly. Anybody know why it would do this?
Could be the ICM or the coil packs. Mine started with the tach acting erratic and the CEL. I replaced the ICM and then it came back. Replaced both coil packs then. No problems now. If you run a search on ICM or coil packs, you should find lots on how easy they are to replace. Heck, check on my username and look at my posts, should be some good pics there too. If you need more help, let us know.
P.S. the autoparts stores tested my ICM and coil packs and they were good, but in reality they were not good.
yeah it was the stupid ICM I didn't think it would be that because i had replaced it about a year ago. Although the ICM is the only thing that controls the coils and the tach.
