Have a question on the 998 code. FMEM it sets parameters within the range when a sensor fails. Just so happened it was my ECT. Replaced it haven't had a chance to check codes again but am having an issue with one side of my coil pack not firing and the fan still wouldn't come on. Fan works, can supply power to CCRM to get fan to come on but won't come on like it should. gauge sending unit have anything to do with this?
Have replaced the computer kind of jumped the gun on that one. Bought the used car with the problem. Girlfriends car but she has graduated to a 03 Cobra conv. So when she gets in this one it's almost going backwards on her.
I am guessing the 998 code works on all sensors to let the engine run. Just want to make sure of this, haven't found any clarification on that part. Probably looking too hard for the easy fix.
