I picked up a 1993 Master Cylidner for my disc brake upgrade.

And of course, since I'm a polishing fiend, it needs to be sanded and polished as well.

Now, I *could* work around the plastic piece, but good god, that would suck. Can I pry it off, and if I do, will I break it doing so?

I'm assuming I can, since remanufactured ones do not come with a reservoir. Just don't want to break it, or weaken the seals and have to buy a new freaking plastic reservoir just because I like shiny things.

Yes it does come off but it can be very hard to remove without damaging it....

I ended up glass beading it and then clearing it and it held up and looked nice, I also have issues with polishing almost anything..lol

Autozone had a PT# for the resivor but we could never get the correct one ordered locally for a buddies car, ended up reusing the stock one.

Well, I'll take the chance, I guess. I have a trim puller, which should put equal pressure on all sides of it. So long as it can be pulled straight out, I should OK.

I could always re-use my stock one, if I break this one.

Cool, Thanks.
