So 90 & 91 are different from 92 & 93. You can find compatible cars if you have the part number. So on the module in the picture above the part number is F2AZ-14B056-AD where the "D" is a revision number. Go to any Ford dealer website and plug that par number minus the "D" into the search and it the module will pop up and show discontinued. I have used this dealer in the past:

Enter "F2AZ-14B056-A" in the search bar and then when the part comes up scroll down and all the compatible vehicles that this module will work in come up. Go to a salvage yard and get one out of one of those cars.

1992-1994 Aerostar, Capri, Crown Victoria, Econoline Van, Grand Marquis, Tempo, Topaz
1994 Festiva/Aspire
1992-1993 Mustang

If you use the updated part number you get a lot more vehicles to choose from.

Because the light has to self check. Therefore, the inspector has to see it come on like it does when you first crank it up and then go out.

I ended up repairing the module myself.
The first thing you need to do is desolder all the large 2200uf and 100uf capacitors.
These leak over time and the material inside corrodes the circuit board.
You will need to repair the "runs" (connections) on the board as necessary before the capacitors are replaced.
There is no reprogramming necessary .
