I'm looking to do the 94-95 5 lug conversion in the front so I can run bulitt wheels. I will be doing a built rear with 31 splines, so that will take care of the rear conversion. I was told the SVO 5 lug won't work with these wheels because of backspacing, and to use 94-95 front susp. What all do I need to do this conversion? Anyone know of any salvage yards that I could find these parts? No one around here has any newer stangs. :nice:

the SVO won't work because of the bearing cap being out too far, and contacting the centercap of the wheel. use 94 and up spindles (hat style rotors), gt or six banger will work. I think the 99 and up have better calipers though....you will need to have a spacer machined for the tie rod end, and its a snap.

94-95 Spindles, calipers, caliper lines and brackets. Try to get all the bolts too...makes it easy.

Option B. Same spindles, but go with 99-04 PBR's with lines and brackets...get a reducer union fitting for the passenger side brake line and you are golden. This offers superior stopping power at a fraction of the cost.

READ the sn95brakes website above and you will find complete parts lists for the various conversions. Then look on www.car-part.com to find a local or close by place that has the 94-95 spindles and other parts. Most of the places will ship also. I've paid from $35 to $50 each for 94-95 spindles and $10-15 for rotors and $20-30 each for the better 99-04 calipers.

Good luck!

If your using 17x8 bullits you don't have to use 94-95 spindles. You can use 96-04 stuff also. You only need the 94-95 for 9 inch wheels/tires.

I have 02 model calipers/rotors/spindles/hubs/hoses and banjo bolts for sell. Listed on the corral classifieds.

A buddy of mine has a set of 95 front brakes w/50k miles. Complete with calipers, lines, and rotors that are grooved for $100. I'm gonna take those off his hands. He upgraded to cobra brakes. :nice:

Stay away from the 95 Calipers, they are Heavy and only Single Piston and not much better than Stock! Try going with 99-04 Front Calipers instead!

will the 99-04 calipers fit on the 95 rotors?

Yes. IMO 94-98 calipers, rotors and lines would only be worth like $30-50 or so unless they are like practically new. Basically just something to get you by until you find something better. The best deal is 99-04 calipers and newer rotors. Be sure to check the thickness on used rotors, min thickness is like just over 1" for them to be turned by a shop. I got a set and they would not turn them since they were slightly below the min specs.

DONT USE BALL JOINT SPACERS, THATS HALF ASS. Buy new 95 ball joints and press them into you stock arms. Steering geometery is mush better. I bought a set of spindles and PBR dual piston calipers for $175 from salavage yard and then bought some cross drilled rotors. You will have to get special front brake lines to convert from the stock hard line to the PBR meteric fitting. You can get them from maximum motorsports for about $90.

Good luck with your conversion...for more info check out this site www.veryuseful.com/mustang/tech/

here's my ride...
