I just gotta say that out of any other tech board ive ever posted on, the 94-95 forum on SN takes the cake. I dont see as much comradery on any other board like ive seen here. Ive cruised the Fbody boards and its not as closely knit.

Anyways dont get all emotional, were all men here.

It's hard not to tear up man... it's just so beautiful here (sniff). No, seriously, this place is awesome. I only dreamed of having a Mustang just a few years ago and had no real mechanical know-how on anything to do with a car. This site has guided me all the way when putting the S/C on my ride and helped me through many endeavors with my car. For real, rock on :SNSign:

Going to let you guys in on a little secret of mine. When I was looking for a car, before I got my mustang, I was looking to get a camaro. And after looking at camaro boards I was totally turned off by the guys at these boards I visited. Most of them seemed arrogant and acted liked their crap didn't stink and they had the fastest car in the world not to mention I read several racist comments in those boards. Then after that, and the fact that I really couldn't find a m6 Z28 in my area, I decided to look at mustangs. And I must say that what I found in the mustang boards compared to fbody ones was like night and day. To make the story short I found my mustang for the right price with $$ left over to mod the car compared to the fbody, not to mention the stang boards were(are!) much friendlier. :SNSign:
I know, I know; hate the driver don't hate the car.

I agree with you all the way. There is no interpersonal rapport on the other generic forums (not including the niche places like Matt's site).

I really look forward to seeing (in SN 94-95 land) what new posts there are on existing threads and seeing what new troubles have cropped up. Some of you guys are absolutely hilarious - it'd be so much fun to meet-up in person (and I'm not an internet meet-and-greet type of guy, so that says something). Some of you have sent me parts (present company included.......... Justin) and others have offered to come help me with remodeling my house........... Everyone who has posted on this thread, for example, is top-notch!

I'll agree about the F-body boards (I read the 4th gen sub-forums). There's some good tech, but the boards can be sterile.

Like I said in Mr Drunk Caldwell's post, if I was rich, I'd pay to have all of us get together and race, drink, or whatver.

I agree! People don't seem to get mad and hold grudges over dumb stuff yet speak there mind. AND we have great tech people here too.

I remember when I was asked if my first mustang had an h-pipe. I was like, no, it's all stock. Well I found out that it had several things I had no idea. Point is that I was that ignorant about cars. Stangnet has helped me in many many ways. Readin on here and hands on is #1.

I too knew nothing about Mustangs or modifications before coming to this site. Since then, I've had so much fun with my car through the ups and downs. I've spent lots of money on mods and still have a few major pieces to go.

I can't always post on here as much or often as I'd like, but it sure is nice to know that if I haven't been on here in a couple weeks or more, that everyone responds to questions and posts no differently.......just plain nice and friendly.

Got to mention how much money this site has saved me. I rarely go to a mechanic or shop, cause I've got this section as a resource. In fact, I used the 94/95 FAQ sticky a couple nights ago fixing my window motor bushings. Spent $20 on parts and 1.5 hours of my time. Sure felt better fixing my own stang, than paying someone $150 to do it at a shop that'll take longer to do it.

My favorite site by far. Can't imagine if this site ever went away.

I've never been on another forum that has compared...

no flamewars + lack of gigantic egos + no trolls = goodtimes.

seems a lot more mature here
