Well....I stuck with mine as a base and made it pretty bad ass. There is something to having a 5.0 as that was what I grew up dreaming about owning one day. I know getting a turbo kit for it wasn't easy, but all the parts you could ever dream of needing are out ther for the '94-'95 cars, they just might be a little pricier at times. It's simple math, less demand = smaller production runs = greater costs bringing to market.

Steve, what turbo setup did you end up going with? I just saw pics of it in the link in your sig and as usual the car looks awesome!

Thanks man!

It's a custom Turbonetics T-76 with a ProTurbo kit, small little intercooler, big fuel delivery system all on top of a former Renegade motor.

I have seen the light recently at the true potentila of the 4.6L and needless to say I have a new found respect and desire to own one someday... it would have to be at least a 5.0 liter or better mod motor though! I'd still never give up my '95 5.0L pushrod stang though either.

I love my car, i wouldnt trade it for any other mustang, not saying other years arent nice but ive driven an 05, it wasnt bad but i wasnt all that thrilled, ive driven older mustangs and they were nice but my car is just comfy and its just me, i got asked so often by my family when i first bought my car, "so why did you get THAT mustang? its almost 11 years old, its got over 70k miles, and your a girl, what would you want with that?" Now when they hear me before they see me, and they see how much different its looking its more like "oh your car looks so good, your car sounds so good, thats so awesome that your a girl and you have that car" i just smile and shake my head.

Based on lack of respect I would have to say the Mustang II is the least desirable and respected. I hate they even have the Mustang name attached to them.

It is worth remembering, though, that without the Mustang II there is a good chance that we wouldn't have Mustangs today. Or at least, not a continuous unbroken line of them. It was the right car for Ford to build at the time, and it sold quite well, especially in the first couple of years.

Our body styles kept in good condition with a nice paint job definitely stand out, I dont think we are even close to being the red headed step child (that should be 96-98 territory)
