I'm not quite sure what you mean? Will it fit as far as bellhousing bolt pattern? If so, then yes. I have a 2000 Explorer shortblock in my 95, along with a T5.
They'll mate, but you need to use the SN95 bell and fork. You may run into the issue of the slip yoke engaging the output shaft too much though. Then it won't have enough room to slide around any with rear suspension travel.
