94-95 Taillights In A 98?

Hello, I should soon be in possession of a 98 v6 and was trying to find out if the horizontal taillights from 94-95 would fit in place of the vertical ones. They look like the same size, but I didn't know if the harness was different.
I just like the horizontal ones a lot better than the vertical. They feel more "aggressive" to me, and I'd like to use them instead.

I had to use an adapter harness connection to install 96-98 taillights in my 95 GT, doubt if anyone makes the same adapter to do what you want to. If you are good with wiring you could make your own using a schematic.

I found multiple people on Facebook saying that going from a 96-98 to a 94-95 was literally plug and play. Says he does it all the time. I'm hoping he is right.
