I was just wondering how hard it would be to convert from a 98 body style to a 99-04. I'm not really looking to do it, I'm really just curious. Do you just have to change the panels, or does it really involve more than that?

There were a few people who did that to 96-98 cars 99, You couldnt tell the difference when they were done.
But the reason most people here drive 96-98's is because they prefer that bodystyle.

I really do like the 94-98 body style, but I'm just wondering how hard it is to convert.

I like the more ostentescious nature of the New Edge styling... almost as mcuh as I like the WS-6 Firebirds, those are just sex...

True that, I like the taillights better on my '99 then the '96-'98s, but the Cobra bumper cover on the '98 is just hot!

Dugan Racing did it. They converted a '95. It can be done. Do you have the money?

I believe the only body part which actually stayed the same, is the roof.

That proves correct because the top for the 94-98 body is the same exact top for the 99-04

Very strange question. That's like asking "why not remove the V8 from the GT and put in a 6 cylinder"?
