heres a question i cant seem to resolve without some help. is it a characteristic of the electric tranny to develop solenoid problems above 80000 miles which causes a noticeable stutter just prior to gear change.im not sure i agree with some of the info ive gotten..........whadda u think
I seem to remember getting that issue a while back. I don't remember the exact issue, but I was told that it's just one broken part that needs to be replaced. HOWEVER, that part is buried in the tranny somewhere, you'd be doing most of a full rebuild just to get that part replaced. So I opted for a full rebuild.
Now, the story I was told may be true or it may not be. The shudder did go away after the rebuild. But the rebuild lasted maybe three years before it died again, so the rebuild was cheap.
