Ok, my little bro has a 94 stang w/ the following mods.....

347 stroker motor 9.5:1 comp
Stock Heads/ Intake 226/226 .512/.512 (i think it's a 114 lsa)
Ford Racing Cam
K&N Airfilter

The problem is the car is running super rich, it's only getting 8mpg and you can smell alot of raw gas when idling, i know the cam is a big cam and it is expected to have the really rough idle and not get the greatest mileage.

What can be done to help tune the car up? Has new plugs and wires and still running super rich, I was thinking that a fuel pressure regulator would help, but is there anythign else that could help? I am new to the whole mustang world, but I am trying to help my little brother....

um, that cam is rather puny. Its also rated for a 302, not 347.... What size injectors and mass air are you running? Fuel pressure? O2's could be shot and running in open loop mode perhaps. Ive also heard some stuff about the 94-95 ecu being very picky with cams and modifications.

probably didnt help much, but throwing stuff out there.
