95 cobra computers

ok....i was reading about the cobra computers on the 5.0 tech and eveyone says to scrap the cobra computer. someone please explain to me y i would do that. They also say get the GT computer because its more "aggressive." and my last question would be once i put more mods in my car would it be smart to still keep the cobra computer? i guess im still confused on this subject

I have read a lot also about the Cobra computer not being as aggressive as the GT. People who use the tweeker start with a Cobra program, then tweek it. Going to the GT computer, in my opinion would not benifit much. There is the PIH kit which makes it where you can put a 93 computer in which is more mod friendly. It would really depend on what mods you are going to do. A stroker with cam, heads, intake & SC, I would get a tweeker, PMS or something that can change parameters. People have gained 1/4 mile times by changing to the 93 computer. I have a FRPP extender for my bolt on 94. The extender removes the tip in shift retard, 93 mph fuel dump & timeing retard and can fine tune the air fuel ration along with move the revlimitor up.
