95 cobra, problem in tune, or..?

First of all I have a 95 cobra, 302, Trick flow top end with twisted wedge heads and stage 2 camshaft, stock maf, stock fuel pump, stock dizzy.
factory manifold headers, no cats, no smog pump.

These are the codes I have only after install of this motor. I have a chip with a tune on it, mail order. The car is extremely rich, runs doggy, off and on, It has fox throttle body, I have found no vacuum leaks. It runs like i have the timing way retarded or something but timing is at 10* and the chip is supposed to advance it.

212 Loss of ignition diagnostic monitor input to spark output circuit grounded, and 543, fuel pump secondary circuit failure batter to control module,

I can't find a loose or broken ground for the life of me!
i have a chip and burner, and binary editor and can email the tune to someone if they know what they are looking at....

I've tested every sensor... the only think I can think of now is maybe spout is bad, ecu could be bad, IDK why that would happen with new motor, or pickup in dizzy is bad?

Please help, any input is appreciated.

The pip sends the signal to run the FP and the ignition signal too (obviously). this sounds to be your code problem
The chip will advance the timing internally (you won't see it at base timing)
Try to set the timing to 12 btdc and see how it runs. You can always set it back to 10 remember to pull the spout when setting timing

What would symptoms be if the spout itself was bad?

The spout connector just completes a circuit , you can test it with an OHM meter to see if its good , never seen one go bad in my life , your PIP sensor in your distributor sounds like it could be the problem , most people just get a Reman distributor from a local parts store , I would pick up one as they are notorious for failing and leaving people on the side of the road and I would put a good 255lph fuel pump in there before it leaves you stranded as well

Easy way to see if everything is working is after you set base timing with the spout out at 10 , is to hook up the spout connector and recheck your timing with a timing light it should go from 10 to probably somewhere between 20-35 degrees and will more than likely fluctuate a little , and when you have the spout out the timing mark should not fluctuate at all as long as the RPM of the engine will stay pretty steady at idle

Low power at part and full throttle

543 - When the PCM commanded the fuel pump on, voltage was not detected on FPM

212 - Loss of IDM (Ignition Diagnostic Monitor) input to EEC or SPOUT circuit grounded

This code wont set a CE light , common with a chip installed though so if you get it with the chip just ignore it

511 - EEC permanent Read Only Memory (ROM) test failed

Well I just hate to think that something went bad just with the install of this motor. my dizzy is like 2 years old it was a reman. fuel pump was new about a year ago.

I had a remaned dizzy go bad in a week.
If you have a warrenty with it why not change it to rule it out.
