95+ degrees outside difficult shifting

I am looking for thoughts on this problem.

I have 03 Cobra with no mods to shifter or tranny. I did have a Roush shift lever and Hurst t-handle, but I took them off to see if they caused the problems.

I notice when the temp gets over 95 degrees and I drive a bit, it becomes harder to shift. This is only at low speeds or stopped. Reverse is the worst. We have been having days over 100 degrees here recently. Its not grinding gears, but more like hard push into gear.

Any thoughts?

Hmmmm, I got a 96 snake, and it does the same thing, but usually when it's colder outside. This is way weird, I was just about to put up a post about this. Reverse is the worst for me too. I sometimes have to put it in first and roll forward so I can get it into reverse. And shifting to 2nd is hard, sometimes it grinds, but after the car is warmed up, it doesnt do this. We have the same problem, but the opposite problem.... but no, wait... Its the same problem, just... Im a moron.
Some one just help him (us).
