Ok i just drove my car to the shop, i was driving about 45 mph and the car died... well still was running just the rpm would not go over 2k. So im in the middle of the road and cant move the car, i floor it and just a spike in rpms... maybe touched 3k. Restarted the car and it was fine, except now it doesnt go into 1st gear all the time.... or 2nd.. not asking for help i guess, just going to do a update when i get it fixed incase someone else has had this problem.

well of course they told me everything could use replacing, but my main problems was main seal leak, sequencer in trans? that why first gear was hard to get into, and clutch wasnt out but has been riding high latly so thats being replaced. along with pulleys and new belts. so a major fix but a major dent in the small wallet

I know how you feel, man. Lately, problems with my 95 have just been one after another... It's just the downside of owning an older vehicle that has/is beaten on on a semi-regular basis. You just have to try and keep ahead of the game on maintenance. Sooner or later, you won't HAVE to make repairs a weekly occasion. Don't know about you, but I can't WAIT for that day.

Ah, lost the synchro's in the tranny? Yeah, that's the weak link in the T5 manual transmission. At least the tranny can be rebuilt, rather than things going BOOM.
