So my stock cats have developed a rattle and I bought the pypes catted x pipe to replace them and noticed it doesn’t look like they have the vent for EGR(my goal). I am open to the idea of deleting the smog pump and egr system all together but I just want to know what I’ll need to make sure my car still runs right.

You can leave the EGR intact and remove just the smog pump. The X-pipe has 3-way cats and does not need it.

You can purchase a pulley online to replace the pump. Put it in a box and label it! Don't toss it.

Is there a specific reason whey you want to delete the EGR system?

I’ve heard things about vacuum lines… is that going to be a problem? I think I’m leaning towards leaving EGR intact and deleting Smog pump as least invasive as I can.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

The smog pump is useless. It just heats the cats up faster on start up. Just don't go through emissions without warming the car up first. You aren't even hurting the planet by removing it. I would go with a smog pump delete pulley as that is the easiest way. the vacuum lines you can just stick a 1/4 bolt in, and zip tie tight. It's a non issue. It won't throw a check engine light or anything. Keep the EGR system though. It's a hassle to delete, and there are no performance gains to removing it.
