Cashville TN.
When the car has very little Temp. It won't Spark Rattle. When the Temp. Out side is Cool it won't Spark Rattle.

But when the car sets in traffic and gets some temp. it will spark rattle under a load, such as up a steep hill. Or when it gets Hot out side, it will spark rattle under a load.

What is the Ideal Timing Setting?

What do you Guys Think? Maybe to much timing? someone said maybe the Mass Air Flow Sensor? Or some type of Heat Sensor?

Does the 5.0 in a 95 have a Knock Sensor?

What could cause this even running High Octane Gas and even Octane Booster?

And what tricks are needed to set the Timing on a 95 5.0 to correct specs?

PLEASE HELP!

It's about my bed time so i'm gonna just point you in the right direction I'm sure someone will answer fully. No knock sensor on our cars. I'm assuming my spark rattle you mean the engine is knocking. What octane gas are you running? If the MAF was bad the car would be hesitating and sputtering like a mofo. Sorry i can't elaborate on either. Be back on here tomorrow of course :D

What you're getting is detonation or pinging. It comes from so many things it 's a joke. Our computers are junk and all of the sensors have to be in good condition. Timing can be set @ 10* and may help a little.
Do a search on the two issues I mentioned above and you'll get lots of hits.

Good Luck. :nice:
