The other day my car just killed. It seems that the coil is the problem, but i just wondering if anyone knows what Ohm readings i should be getting when i check the coil?
Have you pulled codes yet? For some reason alot of peoples PIP's are going out, including mine, When it went out the coil was getting fire, but not sending anything out.
For a quick road-side test (when it breaks down - I'm all about quick and dirty test methods), put a test light across the two coil wires (the wiring connector wires in the grey connector, not the spark-plug-like wire) and have someone crank the engine over. See if your test light flashes while cranking. If not, the coil is missing key-on 12 volts or the ground pulse from the TFI. Go from there.
